To be a kid again

 

When you look at a child do you see the joy in his heart? Have you noticed the wonder in their eyes? Does it make you want to go back? Do you ever wish you could be a child again?

 

 





What if you could? Well not physically, but what if you could go back in your heart and see life like a child sees it? What would that be like? I think it would be heaven on earth.

Think about it. A child's mind and heart are open. Vulnerable. Perfect soil for the seeds of joy to bloom in. A child knows who he is. A child is unconditional and not judgmental. A child needs nothing more than to exist in this very moment, completely aware of the joy in his experience.

So, why don't we do that? Why don't we learn from the children, and look at life with curiosity again? Why don't we drop those expectations, and start looking at everything with fascination and admiration. Why don't we get excited and surprised by the gift we keep on getting: the Present. Why don't we remember in our hearts, what it feels like to be a kid, and hold on to that feeling?

How can we bring back that inner child? What if he has been hiding for a long time? He may have fallen asleep... time to wake him up!

Do things throughout the day that make you feel like a kid. Spin in your chair at the office once or twice. Skip to your car after work. Dance when you get good news. Make up songs in the shower. Do things that make you smile. Do things that excite you. Do things that make you feel YOUNG and alive!

After all, who really wants to grow old anyway?

What's the Purpose?

Purpose. Let's talk about Purpose.

I think the question we all try to answer is "what is the purpose of life?" at some point or another. But what if the question is not what is the purpose of life, but what is the purpose of my life?

I think we were all put here for a reason. I don't think there is anything random about life.

We all have gifts, special talents, abilities which we should use, and share with the world. Developing our talents, practicing our abilities, mastering our gifts will allow us to lead a life of fulfillment, of joy, of pure bliss.

Doesn't that sound amazing?

Problem is that sometimes we don't know what we're good at. Sometimes we wonder if we even have a talent. I know because I thought that.

Sometimes we know what we are good at, and we love it. But we find ourselves too busy being busy. We get caught up in life's little hamster wheels. We give up our purpose for someone else's.

And sometimes, just sometimes, we take our strengths, and run with them. We run and run and run. We don't look back. We just go.

All you need is faith. Faith in your creativity. Faith in you!

You don't need to know where you're going. You just need to know you are on your way.

How do you know you are going the right way? Happiness is your gauge. Trust yourself.

What is God?

(yes, I'm going there)

God is a word. Words are symbols. They point at something.

The word God points at something that creates. Creates everything. Creates itself.

God is the creator and the creation.

But God is just a name, a name for the nameless. And really, what's in a name?

The nameless is that from which you come from. Your "father" so to speak.

Call it what you want. It's the principle.

It's the idea of something that is the source of everything. The source of even your thoughts and actions. It's a shame we are not always tuned in. We don't always hear what we are trying to tell ourselves. What kind of messages could be hidden in our dreams? By breakfast time, many of our dreams have been forgotten. What could our spirits be trying to tell us? We can't hear the voice of wisdom because our minds are so cluttered with thoughts.

If we could just quiet our minds, and love each other, and realize that we are all believers of the same "principle", even the non-believers (they just believe they don't believe, but they really do... you can't deny the truth that we all came from something that we can't put a name on), the world would really be the world that was intended upon creation.

It would be perfect. Human beings would love our planet and we would not hurt or destroy it.

Come on people, get it together! It's the PRINCIPLE!!

that little light of mine... I'm gonna let it BURN!!

The fire inside me will be inextinguishable.

This "article" as they call it in the blog world, will be a continuation of the only article I posted last year, titled "the time of your life". It's interesting, you see, because not only is it the only thing I posted in 2012, it is also my most viewed post of all time, by almost double the views as the first runner up!

That is the reason I read the article in the first place. I wanted to see what was so different about this particular blog post.

It was about here and now. Literally.

It's curious because this was the topic in my transformational class today. Be. Here. Now.

So here I am. Here and now. Where do I go from here? Or should I just stay here?

I think the answer is here... and now. Always.

Now that I am here, I can do the things I want to do, that will get me what I want to have.

It's brilliant! It's the be-do-have paradigm. Knowing and remembering this is key in life.

The problem is most people have it backwards. So many people think that when they HAVE something (money, time, fame) then they can do the things they want to do (buy a big house, go on vacation, act in a movie), and then they will BE happy (rich, successful).

You have to BE (what you want) HERE and NOW. Then you can do and have what you want. You will attract it. "Act as if" or "fake it till you make it", as they say.

If you want to be happy then BE happy!

It really is that simple. So simple that we forget about it and sometimes even don't believe it.

So what am I doing here and now? I am doing all in my conscious power to fill myself up with desire and passion. I'm following my heart. I'm igniting my fire! I'm gonna let it burn!!

I am being me. I am becoming a more evolved me. I am creating awesomeness.

Be here and now. Be you. Be the awesome person you were born to be. Just be.
